'Grow the Greens' Lunchtime Fundraiser, featuring Ralph Nader!

Thursday, April 12, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., at the Independent Media Center, 
218 W. Main St., Urbana

Mark Thursday, April 12, on your calendars now. Join 2000 Green Party 
presidential candidate and lifelong consumer advocate Ralph Nader, in a 
benefit fundraiser for the Illinois Green Party and the Prairie Greens 
local affiliate group.

Tickets to this very special event are available for a suggested minimum 
contribution of $40. ALL proceeds benefit the state and local Green parties 
in their continuing efforts to support a progressive, alternative politics.

Due to limited space, the number of people who can attend will be capped at 
about 100. To be assured the chance to attend, reserve your tickets early 
using the form below. Checks should be made payable to the Prairie Greens 
of East Central Illinois.

The Green Party benefit will feature Ralph Nader, various local speakers 
and entertainers, and refreshments including a fine organic vegetarian lunch.

Later in the day, there are additional opportunities to see and hear Mr. 
Nader without cost: a book signing at the Illini Union Bookstore from 3 to 
4 p.m., and a speech from 7 to 9 p.m. in the 1,650-seat Foellinger 
Auditorium on the UIUC campus.
