I did some research on the upcoming IMF - World Bank protests. Here's what
I found:

	- The IMF and World Bank will be meeting on September 29th and
September 30th. Originally, they had planned to meet through October 4th,
but they decided to shorten the time.
	- A high "security" fence like the one in Quebec will likely be
raised around the downtown-DC area (including, as to be expected, the IMF
and WB headquarters, the White House, and possibly even the ellipse). A
graphic from the Washington Post, showing where the wall will probably go,
is available off the DC-Indymedia site:
http://www.dc.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=11118&group=webcast .
	- I couldn't find any definite plans for the 29th-30th ( I imagine
they're still forthcoming, and based on where the wall will be) but the
places to be frequently checked are the 50 Years Is Enough page
(www.50years.org), the Mobilization for Global Justice page
(www.globalizethis.org), and the DC Independent Media Center page
(dc.indymedia.org). These sites also have information about globalization
and its effects and the impact of the IMF and World Bank.

I'm interested in helping to organize an effort to get to
Washington and participate in the demonstrations. Would anyone else like
to meet soon and talk about what we could do?
