Rehan, and Other Obnoctious Persons Who Want Off the IMC Mailing List,

My patience is running out. Trouble is, once it's run out, all I can do
is huff and puff, because YOU have all the power, since YOU are the ones
who are able and willing to fill my mailbox with complaints I cannot
help you with. Excuse me as I complain right back at you; I promise I
will tell you how to help yourselves when I am through.

Rehan, maybe you did not realize when you sent your message (below),
but it went to two mailing lists and to Kimberlie Kranich, who will
receive it no less than two times, because she belongs to at least one
of the mailing lists.

Kimberlie does not deserve to receive your complaints. Nor do I. Nor do
the subscribers to the two mailing lists, most of whom can do nothing
at all to help you. Your mailbox is not held hostage by them, it is held
by the software that keeps the list---software that is under YOUR control.

Instead of bleating that you want to be taken off the self-same list where
TWO people posted instructions for you to cancel your subscription, act
like the informed and self-determined person you (now) are and take action
to help yourself; visit http://lists.cu.groogroo.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/imc
Granted, the software has a warty interface, but it works, and soon you
will free the rest of us from hearing you gripe in vain. Now, I bet you
didn't know you woke this morning a Liberator of Mailing List Subscribers!
But you did! So let freedom ring!

Dave
