Check out this Editorial on the recent attempt of a group of student activists to "take over" the College Republicans

what they did is attend the meeting in force ( outnumbering the Republicans ) and then paid dues at the door, thus becoming a member and gaining rights to run for the Officer Positions.

Then when the Republicans saw that they were to going to "take them over" they held a Emergency Meeting , changed the rules ( am not sure yet if this was legal yet but will follow up ) and have since elected their own folk ! 

and they all lived happily ( richly ) everafter ! The End.
