This is late notice of an Urbana celebration today, 5:30-7:30 for Black
History Month -- our first ever. It will be modest but a big community
collaboration. Come if you can!

The City of Urbana celebrates Black History Month with the display,
“Through the Years: African American History Comes Home,” at Gallery on
the Square in Lincoln Square (next to International Gallery).

Opening reception Thursday, February 8, 5:30-7:30, with comments on
local history by members of the Champaign County African American
History Committee, including Mrs. Doris Hoskins.

Music and refreshments provided.
The display will continue through the month of February.
