[Imc] new newspaper

I'll chime in, since until now I've been too busy with
end-o-semester-shit. I did want to note that Bloomington-Normal does
have a long-running and rather good indie paper, the Post-Amerikan.

Not to step on anyone's toes here, but I hope that John does make an
attempt to maybe make something good better. It would seem to be rather
problematic for B-N to have two such good examples of journalism
competing with each other for the same resources (not that I'm against
competition, but I know that we in C-U have found that things work best
when they're at least coordinated to the extent that we don't undermine
each other in these small city settings.)

Just to be clear that I do have a little bias here, I should mention
that I do have a soft spot for the Post-Amerikan. I helped print it some
25 years ago, when I had a summer job in my earlier
less-than-overwhelming-success attempt at college. I always looked
forward to reading it when we would run it, as we got the first chance
to read it, other than the editors. They printed good, cutting edge
stuff in those days and are still doing it.

I certainly do welcome John's advice and assistance, in any case, for
our print project.
