[Imc] Life in the Bike Lane General Meeting

I'd like to announce a general meeting for those interested in learning 
about or getting involved in producing the Life in the Bike Lane segments 
on:

Tuesday, September 25th 7pm
Independent Media Center
218 West Main street
Downtown Urbana

Life in the Bike Lane is a 5 minute morning drop in on WEFT 90.1, 6:30 am 
Mondays and 8:30 am on Wednesdays. The segment is mostly profiles and 
commentary on local community organizations and individuals striving for 
sustainability.

Agenda:

-Explanation of LITBL
-Run through of training resources and times
-Brainstorm session about new topics to cover
-Delegating shows
-Designating a meeting time biweekly or monthly to make the schedule  for 
the next month.
-Feedback session on past shows
-Other items?

LITBL is an excellent ooportunity to brush up on or learn how to: record and 
conduct interviews, use audio production equipment and 2 different audio 
editing programs, record voiceovers, and make a final product. Because the 
program is less time sensitive material and the content is more documentary 
based, more time can be taken with the creative process of audio production. 
Since it is such a short segment, it may offer new audio producers a more 
managable project to start out with.
