[Imc] Invitation to speak about your IMC Saturday, in Chicago . . .

Hello everybody, 

My name is Andrew and I am in town today, as I have been visiting with
folks from your IMC and also from the Communications program at the
University (i.e. Bob McChesney). Anyhow, it just so happens that I have
organized a workshop in the midst of a MayDay conference organized by
the Chicago Direct Action Network, that is on independent media. I will
be speaking about the founding of the IMC and its international
presence (I am based out of Mexico City), and Chicago IMC folks will be
speaking about its local presence in the city. I'd like it a lot if
someone from the UC-IMC could come up with me to go back to the city
tomorrow night to speak about the IMC down here as part of the
workshop. There is also a pirate radio activist who will be speaking in
the workshop. It should turn out well. 

If you do decide to come, you will receive a free ride up to Chicago
and also free housing for Friday and maybe Saturday night. The ride
back will have to be arranged by you, but if you stay till Sunday, you
can also catch a major local Chicago demo being organized also by
Chicago DAN which may feature some direct action and is an event worth
covering (I hear that audio is pretty big down here, perhaps someone
can check out one of the MD's to cover the event).
