Hello. The people who did a presentation at the IMC withthe Beehive
Collective, on Domestic Violence in Radical Communities...are looking for
all sorts of help in their human rights trip to Palestine/Israel. They
will also making a video documentary.
I was hoping perhaps the ImC might be interested in helping wityh
equipment, editing stuff, or something else. Maybe an offer of them using
all the editing equipment at the IMC upon their return, for instance.
Please read on and consider contacting them. I can vouch for both of them
in terms of their amazing dedication to activism and organizing,
and I think they bring a very unique
persepctive to the situation.

	Thanks! Becca

Subject: Need Support for Trip to Palestine

We stand strong with other peace activists such as the International Solidarity Movement who states, "we are not siding with Palestinians against Israelis, but siding against violence and for peace based on justice; that will allow Israelis and Palestinians to live in mutual security." We will work in partnership with other internationals, Palestinians and Israelis during our stay in the Middle East. We plan to work with people of all religions and people of none. We plan to go to Occupied Palestine and Israel December 2002. We plan to stay in that region for approximately two months.

Who We Are:
We are two American born Jewish anarchists. We were raised with both implied and overt Zionism. Over the years we have had many internal and external battles in order to overcome this Zionist ideology. We are proud of our Jewish culture, yet we are ashamed of both the Israeli government/military and the equation of Judaism and Zionism. We stand strong as Anti-Zionist Jews in solidarity with the Palestinian people. We believe stateism is inherently violent. We are working towards respectful coexistence among Jews and Arabs in the Middle East and around the world.

The Skills We Plan to Bring:
*Commitment to Justice
*Training in Counseling (young people, survivors of abuse, women)
*Rath's Medical Training
*Yareak's Knowledge of Hebrew
*Understanding of the history of the Arab-Israeli Conflict
*Willingness to Assist However We Can

While in Occupied Palestine we plan to:
*observe and intervene at check points
*take solidarity visits to Palestinian homes
*record testimonies of survivors of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) invasions
(i.e. Jenin)
*help to rebuild homes and buildings bulldozed and blown up by the IOF
*deliver food and medicine to residents of refugee camps
*escort people to hospitals and relatives homes
*participate in conflict-resolution
*document the resistance to the Occupation of Palestine
We plan to create a documentary illustrating Palestinian, Israeli and
Palestinian-Israeli Women's resistance to the Occupation.

Upon Our Return to the U.S.:
*Edit & Produce Our Documentary
*Go on a Speaking Tour
*Continue Activism around this and many other issues

We are very interested in working with your organizations. Part of our decision to wait until December to travel to Palestine is financial. We have some concrete fundraisers ahead of us but they are all relatively small. We are very eager and devoted to work alongside both Palestinian and Israeli people in the Middle East. We would like any information you could provide us that may be in addition to what is posted on your websites. We especially would appreciate any leads to organizations or individuals who could provide financial support for this endeavor.
