*J.T Hartke Book Release Event*

J.T Hartke Book Release Event will happen on Thursday, September 20th, at
the indi go Artist Co-Op, starting at 6:30pm- 9:30pm. J. T. Hartke invites
you to join him in celebrating the release of his premiere novel, "A
Balance Broken, Book 1 of the Dragonsoul Saga". An epic fantasy in the
genre of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, the book promises to be a
big seller. After its worldwide premiere at Comic Con in San Diego, "A
Balance Broken" has generated a nation and world wide following.

Born in Effingham County and a several decade resident of Champaign, J. T.
is a local author committed to the community and his roots in downstate
Illinois. We hope that you can join us for our celebration at indi go
Artists Co-Op.

*Prose/Poetry/Music: An Evening of Words and Music Featuring Lania Knight,
John Palen, Roxane Gay, and Jeff Arrigo.*

Prose/Poetry/Music: An Evening of Words and Music will happen on Saturay,
September 22nd, at the indi go Artist Co-Op, starting at 8pm.

Lania Knight's first book, Three Cubic Feet, is a novella about a gay
teenager in Missouri. Her stories and essays have been published in PANK,
Midwestern Gothic, Jabberwock Review, and others. She lives in Champaign.

John Palen's latest book is Small Economies, a short-fiction chapbook
published by Mayapple Press. His Open Communion: New and Selected Poems
came out in 2005, also from Mayapple. He has published poetry recently in
Citron Review, Lingerpost, The New Poet, The Cossack, Poydras Poetry Blog,
New Verse News, Sleet and elsewhere. A retired journalist and
journalism educator, he recently moved to Champaign-Urbana from Michigan.

Roxane Gay lives and writes in the Midwest.

Jeff Arrigo is a singer-songwriter from Missouri. His first CD, Gideon,
features his signature folk-blues storytelling style. He is co-founder of
the CU Singer-Songwriter Collective and helps with fundraising for the CU
Folk & Roots Festival.

Prose/Poetry/Music featuring Lania Knight, John Palen, Roxane Gay, and Jeff
Arrigo. Books and CDs will be available for purchase. No cover.
