*FILM RELEASE @ THE SHOW announces a live poetry event and film release of
ILL POETS SOCIETY*



*What:* The Show announces the public exhibition of ILL POETS SOCIETY, a
film about poetry, and live performance featuring artists from the film and
new artists from the community. The event is free to the public and all are
encouraged to attend. The first 15 attendees receive a free copy of the
film DVD and audio CD from this project.



*When:* Friday, February 22nd, viewing and performance begins at 8:00pm.



*Where: *The Show Studios, Urbana, IL (contact wrfu at theshow1045.com for

*Bio:* Raymond Morales, PhD is an MD Candidate in Biochemistry at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His is the founder and
brainchild behind The Show, a radio program on WRFU, 104.5 FM filmed for
TV. As the first and longest radio & TV program produced by a University of
Illinois student that is not funded or related to the University, his
programs has focused on providing an urban Latino perspective on politics and
everyday situations. This album is his debut as a poet and his first album.
Inspired by life, he contributes three pieces focused on a slew of topics
ranging from the woes of his personal life to relationships to sex. Prepare
yourself for a fresh cup of harsh reality from The South Bronx scholar
turned poet.


*Details:* The event is free and open to the public, but seating is
