Sky Gallery Call for Entries
40 North and Adams Outdoor Advertising collaborate for third year in a row
to feature local art on billboards


Champaign County - 40 North | 88 West - Champaign County Arts Council - invites local artists to submit work to be considered for Sky Gallery, a collaboration with Adams Outdoor Advertising, in which local art will be featured on billboards. Artwork will be selected by a jury made up of professionals from throughout Champaign County. To enter, artists should submit a completed entry form, up to three digital images of original work, and a non-refundable fee by Monday, February 24, 2014. Entry forms are available at www.40north.org<http://www.40north.org> or at the 40 North offices in Champaign. To have an entry form mailed, phone (217) 351-9841. Artists must be residents of Champaign County to be eligible.

Send a non-refundable entry fee to the address listing above: 1 image - $25; 2 images - $40; 3 images - $60. (checks payable to 40 North | 88 West, if you wish to pay via credit card please call 217.351.9841)

Digital image files can be emailed to abaker at 40north.org<mailto:abaker at 40north.org> after online entry form is completed. Or a disc can be sent to the address listed above.

Artists without access to the technology to digitize images should call or email 40 North at the contact listed above.

Champaign County is an incredibly creative community overflowing with talent. Adams Outdoor Advertising and 40 North | 88 West wanted to feed those creative flames by creating a different type of rotating gallery. Sky Gallery, in its third year, is outlet for local artists to display their work on possibly the largest canvas in town: billboards! Sky Gallery is a unique opportunity for an artist to share their creativity with the community on a whole new level.
