Stop the Violence Gospel Teen Explosion

Champaign,IL- February 22, 2014

 DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INC. is a non-profit public service sorority
that is  based on Christian principles. One of the Sorority's national
programmatic thrusts is Physical and Mental Health. In recognition of
February as National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month,
the Champaign-Urbana Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
will be hosting a *Stop the Violence Gospel Teen Explosion*. This event
will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 6:00p.m. at Jericho Missionary
Baptist Church, 1601 W. Bloomington Rd. in Champaign.



Come out to this praise and worship fellowship celebration as the women of
Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc. and members of our community bring
awareness to the serious consequences of domestic violence amongst teens,
while at the same time providing an example of positive youth
interactions.  This Gospel Celebration will feature local music artist
Lamar "Marty B." Browning, the Praise Dance Ministry of New Foundation.
M.B.C., Deacon Terry Napper & The Whosoever Will Youth Choir, as well as
the Pilgrim M.B.C Teen Choir.  Come out for this awesome event and support
an initiative that is geared toward saving teens from the perils of
