 John McMahon is a singer-songwriter who has been playing rock, folk and
country music in Champaign-Urbana and throughout central Illinois for over
25 years. Gina Cassidy, fiddle and vocals, hails originally from New York
City. She transplanted to central Illinois several years ago and immersed
herself in the local Irish and bluegrass music scenes. John and Gina met
through the CU Singer Songwriter Collective in 2013. McMahon & Cassidy soon
formed. Their performances feature original compositions and covers, both
familiar and obscure, melding their individual styles and influences.
John Coppess is a central Illinois singer/songwriter who does many original
songs as well as folk and country cover tunes. He often sings with his
partner, Suzanne Warner.
