Greetings friends!

Happy Holidays to you, near and far. We're hoping this message finds you well.

The big news for us at The Pygmalion Festival, while we gear up for our 12th year in 2016, is that we've been asked to co-curate a new venue in Downtown Champaign, IL, where our offices are based.

For over 16 years, The Highdive was known all over the Midwest as a destination for touring bands, having hosted the likes of Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Black Keys, The Decemberists, The Flaming Lips, Queens of the Stone Age, The White Stripes, and so many many more.

In recent years, the venue became more of a dance party venue, and only occasionally hosted shows.

Now, on January 15, 2016, with an emphasis on live music and comedy, The Accord (http://intheaccord.com) will open in its place.
Stay tuned, as we plan on presenting a lot of Pygmalion Show Series at the venue, and hosting all sorts of great performances, panel discussions, author readings, and more.
