Hi,
I wanted to let you know about a concert happening on October 10th and 
was wondering if it could be posted on your community events calendar. 
The Sound of Science is a collaboration between composers and plant 
scientists from the University of Illinois. Musicians and scientists 
paired up to produce original compositions based on the sonification of 
primary research data. The performance is the results of this 
collaboration and explores the edges of both biology and new music. 
There will be a reception following the performance where the audience 
can ask questions.
The concert will be held in room 25 of Smith Memorial Hall on the UIUC 
campus and will start at 7:30pm. It is free and open to the public.
