 Hi,

March 3, 2016 PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Sheila Ferguson, CEO Community Elements 217-398-8080 CHAMPAIGN COUNTY REENTRY RESOURCE FAIR – March 16, 2016 Returning home from incarceration can be incredibly challenging. Many people, who lack the resources and support they need, will return to the criminal justice system; shattering families and lives, while creating additional problems for neighborhoods and communities. Together we can break this cycle. The Community Elements Reentry Program, funded by the Champaign County Board, has organized a community-level Champaign County Reentry Resource Fair. The Reentry Resource Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 16th from 1-4pm on the fourth floor of the Illinois Terminal, located at 45 E. University Avenue in Champaign, Illinois. Attendance at the Reentry Resource Fair is free and open to any citizen of Champaign County, or family of a person, with a criminal background. Vendors in attendance will provide information, resources, and services, including information on obtaining state IDs and driver’s licenses, managing child support, as well as options for record expungement or sealing. Area providers of free educational programs for completion of high school degrees, and education-to-employment opportunities will be on site. Local employment agencies and programs will be available to assist with job searches and applications for employment. Community health care agencies will provide linkage to local medical and behavioral healthcare, and assistance understanding and navigating medical coverage options. Professional case managers from Community Elements and local peer mentoring providers will be on site to offer support. The Community Elements Reentry Program has been active since March 2014. In addition to individualized case management and referrals to behavioral health treatment programs, reentry services include screening, linkage to area resources, information, and engagement with clients at locations throughout our community. ### Approved by: Sheila Ferguson, Chief Executive Officer Community Elements,
