Subject: Quad Day 2012 Information<br>
To: morales4 <<a href="mailto:morales4@illinois.edu" target="_blank">morales4@illinois.edu</a>><br>

<div>
Dear student leaders,<br>
<br>
Quad Day 2012 will be held on Sunday, August 26th.
Applications for spots will be accepted staring next Monday,
April 2nd at 8:30am. Spots are limited, and will be assigned
on a first-come, first-serve basis. In order to be eligible
for a spot at Quad Day, your RSO must be fully registered
with the Office of Registered Organizations and in
compliance with all rules and regulations for Quad Day 2012.
Quad Day rules are posted on the CollegiateLink (<a href="http://illinois.collegiatelink.net" target="_blank">illinois.collegiatelink.net</a>)
home page on the flyer board.
<br>
<br>
This year, applications will be available online, with
application fees payable via credit card or through your RSO
account (if adequate funds are available). The link to the
online application will be <a href="http://union.illinois.edu/involvement/rso/QuadDay/Register.aspx" target="_blank">http://union.illinois.edu/involvement/rso/QuadDay/Register.aspx</a>
and will be available starting at 8:30am on April 2nd. <br>
<br>
Application fees will be $28/spot for RSOs (with the
exception of Social Fraternities and Sororities). A table
will be provided for each spot (chairs should be brought by
the group). Spots will be 10 ft wide, with room for your
table, display, and membership. Due to placement on the
Quad, we cannot guarantee the depth of each spot. Social
Fraternities and Sororities will not be provided with
tables, but can reserve a space behind Foellinger Auditorium
for $15.
<br>
<br>
Any RSO that reserves a spot can also reserve a performance
time on either the Anniversary Plaza stage (for groups
needing amplified sound) or the lawn in front of Foellinger
Auditorium. There is a $25 deposit for a performance time,
which will be returned following the completion of the Quad
Day event. <br>
<br>
Beginning this year, any group that would like to bring a
non-standard display can reserve a spot in our demonstration
area. These spots will be much larger than normal (17 ft
wide and 10ft deep with additional benches for your members)
and can be used to display projects, performances,
equipment, or anything else your group would like.
Demonstration area spots will be $35/spot.
<br>
<br>
If you have any questions about Quad Day regulations,
applications, or the event itself, please contact Quad Day
Coordinator Scott Carrico at <a href="mailto:carricos@illinois.edu" target="_blank">carricos@illinois.edu</a>.<br>
