WHAT: For millions, mass incarceration is very much a part of daily life. People on the local, state, and national levels are working hard to abolish the racist and profiteering processes that put America behind bars. This fall, the University YMCA's Friday Forum lecture series will bring to the forefront the experiences and work of people deeply committed to not only bringing these inequities to light, but engaging people in reform, including funding alternatives to incarceration.
