  Greeting Everyone,



           I’d like to thank you all in advance for your participation in
this year’s Service Project Guide!



           Attached, you will find two forms. The first is a blank Service
Project Guide form; the second is a completed example.



As each of us is required to participate in two service projects each
service year, we should collectively have an abundance of projects by now.
We are asking for completed projects, project ideas that will be completed
this service year, and also ideas for projects that may not be possible for
this year, but could used in future service. Please pass these documents on
to your staff and program directors.



We need each AmeriCorps member to submit* at least 2 projects*. Our goal is
a diverse collection of service that can serve as a template for future
AmeriCorps and LeaderCorps groups in their own service. This project will be
our LeaderCorps legacy, so let’s make it great!



           *Completed forms must be returned to me by April 21st *at
mccarthyme at usa.redcross.org. We are looking for a wide variety of projects,
with varied volunteer and time requirements. LeaderCorps members, please
write up your national days of service projects, especially MLK Day, in
addition to your personal service projects. Also, any AmeriWeek service
projects would be appreciated.
