The Independent Media Center is pleased to announce our second annual IMC
Film Fest!  This celebration of the art of cinematography will once again
highlight local and regional artists, giving them an opportunity to share
their work and connect with other artists, community members, and
organizations.

   - The 2nd Annual IMC Film Festival is FREE every day!
    - Located at 202 S. Broadway in Urbana (The old Urbana Post Office)
    - One award will be given each night - determined by audience voting

 *"The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari"*
9:30pm-10:30pm Vin Calianno Live Performance.  Local artist and composer Vin
Calianno has composed a new score for "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," a
German expressionist film from 1921.

Hear a live performance of Calianno's score as the original footage is
projected. Not to be missed!

"*Music and Visualization":*
11:20pm – Matt Harsh and DJ Belly will perform live with both audio and
visual art displays.

6:45pm-8:20pm Jill Freidberg 2007
The title of this documentary translates to "A Little Bit of So Much Truth."
This documentary chronicles the struggles of the people of Oaxaca as they
take over local media outlets in the struggle for social justice.

*"Pontiac’s Rebellion” *
8:30pm-10:00pm - Brian Seay 2009
Following the 2008 announcement that Pontiac Correctional Center was to be
closed, citizens of Pontiac fought to keep the prison open; Pontial
Correctional Center is the main source of employment in Pontiac, Illinois.
Director Brian Seay documents the workers' struggle to keep their jobs.
