Hi AmeriCorps Members

I finally got the details about the "Dump & Run" volunteer opportunity at
the Y.  *Please email me if you would like to sign up.*

The volunteer opportunity is *1-4PM on Saturday, May 14th*.  We will meet at
the University YMCA, 1001 S Wright St, Champaign.  We will then go over to
the Illini Tower (two blocks west of here), and we will collect boxes from
all the floors.  The Illini Tower is where a very large portion of Dump and
Run stuff comes from.

Dump & Run is a YMCA program that essentially involves collecting items that
would otherwise be discarded at the end of the academic year, and selling
them to incoming students in the beginning of the Fall semester.  Dump and
Run saves several truckloads of items from going to landfills, and it also
is a large fundraising effort that funds Y programming throughout the year.
