Unfortunately, we don't have any ready workshops we can do that focus on the intersection of arts and social change.  Most of our workshops tend to teach you things like soldering, 3D printing, and making speakers out of post-it notes & magnets :)  And this Friday is too short of a deadline for us to pull something together.

At best, we can have the space open on Friday night if you'd like to stop by for a visit (we're located in Urbana, next to Lincoln Square Mall).

I hope you were able to get your workshop filled.  Let us know if we should plan to be open on Friday evening.

I am planning a service learning workshop for about 20 students and 16 cadets from Lincoln's Challenge this coming weekend.
I am looking for some sites, projects, programs to tour Friday 6:30ish - 10pm.

I would like to give the students a tour of the IMC and introduce them to the work that happens there. I'm wondering if yo could/would make time to organize an interactive workshop/playshop for the students that would introduce them to your work. Ideally, an activity or two that creates an atmosphere to think about the power of arts and culture to address significant social issues.
A 1-1/2 hour hands on movement, theater games, visual art making project that tells the students about your work, other work, important work would be great.

 I have an unknown budget and could compensate reasonable costs and expenses.
