Hello makers and community!

Tomorrow, Sunday sept 28, we'll be having a few visitors from Maker spaces
in Springfield, and a few of the people founding a new maker space near
Carbondale, as well as a visitor from San Diego and a visiting artist and
maker from Holland.

If you want to meet them, however long or briefly, you can send me an email
and I'll let you know where we are.
(Don't "reply," that'll go to everyone, instead forward to me:

If you're a very early riser, we'll start the day in Common Ground food
coop sometime after 8:45, when they finally roll into town. Otherwise,
there's little schedule, just a nice general meeting of minds. They'll be
around from early till at least afternoon.

I hope some of you are around and interested in sharing your projects and
experiences with these makers from around the state and all over!

If you're interested in different things like music, two of them are
specialists in using Pure Data <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pure_Data>,
an open source software that handles digital music and multimedia. We may
also be chatting about such varied things like outreach, digitally
controlled embroidery and stitching, 3D printing, electronic music, making
your own radio, social justice in jails, and carpentry. Come and direct
conversation where your interests lie!
