Hi, Jeff.

My name is Eric Enger and I am Special Projects Coordinator at Community
Choices here in Champaign. Our executive director, Jennifer Knapp, spoke to
you briefly about a potential for collaboration. We are beginning a
community-building initiative called Open Champaign and are interested in
partnering with you for one of our events. I love what Makerspace and Fab
Lab are doing and would like to talk with you about Open Champaign and the
possibility of working together. Our focus is to promote an inclusive
community by way of shared experiences via low-pressure and creative
ice-breakers in the public space that are accessible and fun.

Open Champaign is a grant-funded project in which people and groups with
and without developmental disabilities come together to create fun and
inviting public environments for passersby to engage in short but
meaningful social interactions and positive shared experiences. These
activities are focused on five-minute experiences that open the lines of
communication and shared personal space among people.

I have attached the Open Champaign one-sheet. I'd love to speak with you to
give you more information and see what you think. Generally speaking, I'm
available throughout the week between 10 and 6 other than Tuesdays. I'm
