Hey Gergana and Key staff,

I am in NM so no able to make the meeting, but a few things that might be
useful to your discussion:

WEBSITE:
The IMC is migrating its site and database to Nation Builder, a pretty powerful
tool <http://nationbuilder.com/features_nonprofits> for website building,
growing contacts, fundraising, managing membership, integrating with social
media, and more.

As an IMC working group, Makerspace has access to this tool. With
NationBuilder we can set MS up with its own "nation" where you can set up
your own website architecture and design, organize MS contacts separately,
link to MS social media, and grant persmissions as you see fit.

Right now, you can see SUPER DRAFT work on the IMC site here
<http://ucimc.nationbuilder.com/>. We are hiring a Little Weaver Web Design
Collective to create a custom design and we have a team of 4 producing
content. We hope to launch in February.

Also, in terms of other needs, please feel free to ask the IMC staff and
board for what you need. We

IMC BOARD:
Working Groups are strongly urged to have participation on the IMC Board.
This is so that every group is represented and has a voice - and no group
is left out of major decisions. Please discuss who could serve on the board
representing Makerspace. They simply need to act as a liaison between the
board and MS governance meetings - they don't have to be a core MS member.
I need a name of a nominee by TODAY, which is the last day we can nominate.
Pretty please, this will save us all a lot of time in miscommunication.

Please join us for the *Annual IMC Membership Gathering and Meeting, Sunday
December 6th* from 2-4:30pm in the Sunroom of the IMC.

During the meeting we will build friendships, celebrate our work from this
last year, vote on board members and structure changes, brainstorm
adventures for the next year - and sing!

Food from the Red Herring with be provided. The space is wheelchair
accessible from the south entrance.

The meeting is open to all, although only members in good standing can
vote. *If you have not renewed your membership yet, please do so here

members govern the organization, serve as core volunteers for programs,
host events, and launch new programs supported by the IMC.
