[Newspoetry] .com dream

I dreamed that I and another grumpy techie came up with the sarcastic
idea of a company which would allow people to sue Linux developers for
bugs in their code. The idea being that people won't use Linux
because unlike Microsoft there's no one to blame if things go wrong.
"linuxblame.com" would keep track of a database of bugs and logs
tracking exactly who wrote each line of Linux, and would allow people
whose business had been damaged by bugs in Linux to sue individual
Linux developers. Paradoxically, this would promote Linux being used
in corporate environments, while putting all its developers out of
business.

Presumably we could also start "linuxliabilityinsurance.com" to
capitalize on this regrettable state of affairs.
