The article is mostly interesting because it shows the ignorance of the 
corporate media.  The authors have no idea about what Occupy is doing or 
any long-term vision.  And, while they note the Tea Party folks got big 
money donations and corporate media coverage (while Occupy was ignored 
and relied on self-funding), the key is that the Tea Party basically 
advocated Republican orthodoxy -- less regulation, less taxes, more 
pro-business legislation.  They are not out for radical, transformative 
change -- just more Republican policies (and even consistent with many 
Dem corporatist policies).  Unlike the Tea Party, Occupy cannot join the 
Democratic Party because the movement is at odds with Democratic Party 
leadership.  Obama has had three chiefs of staff -- all from Wall 
Street.  His economic team is Wall Street, his food czar is Monsanto, 
his jobs czar is GE.  This is all the opposite of Occupy which opposes 
corporatism and money-government.
