[OccupyCU] Occupy at Quad Day

Greetings Occupiers--

At the last GA, we spoke about the benefits of registering as a student
organization (Occupy the Quad may be continuing these conversations as
Damian pointed out). Here's a notice I got today about quad day, which
folks expressed interests in wanting a presence at. In terms of
the bureaucracy of becoming an RSO, tactically, it could be beneficial
because Occupy could have access to additional resources for mobilizing.

Good almost end of the day Colleagues, ****

I would like to inform you that this year we will be doing online
applications for Quad Day 2012. We tried it with Activity Day and made the
entire process much simple. Because of the easier application process, we
booked all 100 Activity Day booths in less than 2 days. Therefore please
start talking to the RSOs you oversee or you are in constant contact with.
The application will be up and running on April 2nd and will be up until
all booths are taken. This information can also be share with your
units/departments if you are planning to be part of Quad Day. ****

We have 459 spaces for RSOs, 75 spaces for Fraternities and Sororities, 58
spaces for units/departments/community organizations and this year we are
adding 20 spaces to be used for RSOs that want do demonstration (for
instance a dance group, robotics team, sailing group, etc.). ****

If you have questions, please let me know. Until then, please start sharing
the April 2nd date. ****
