[OccupyCU] Updates: Flex-N-Gate, township referenda

*Flex-N-Gate* workers are having a speak-out at 1 pm Sat. March 10 at
Channing-Murray Foundation, 1209 W. Oregon St., Urbana . I wanted to make
sure that everybody knew, especially anyone making plans for the location
of that Sat. street-corner event, so they could be coordinated.
The rally will be Tues, Mar 13, at Flex-N-Gate,  1306 East University
Ave.,  Urbana , but the exact time has not yet been set.
Leaflets about FNG will be available at the GA. We have English and French
versions. It would be useful if someone wanted to do a Spanish translation.

We've filed petitions with sufficient signatures to place* two
referenda*on the Cunningham (Urbana) and Champaign township meetings.
One concerns support for the national Move to Amend effort to limit the
role of $ in politics.
The other calls for local ordinances to allow leafleting etc in malls and
parking lots, where people actually can be reached.

Minutes from the Outreach meeting will be ready pretty soon.
