[OccupyCU] ocCupy General Assembly "Minutes," 3/23/12

I realize attendance has dropped for the GA meetings quite a bit lately, but I would like to see them continue.  I know that we have various committees and groups doing things separately, but the GA is a good venue for bringing together all that is being done by these committee as well as a place for new people to become introduced to ocCUpy.  I would suggest that we continue having these meetings with the hope that interest does increase on them.  Just my two cents.

Occupy CU General Assembly “Minutes”

Friday, March 23,
2012

 

In attendance: Chris, Sandra, Chris

 

Since there were so few people in attendance, we did not
have a meeting.  

 

Things of note:

 

~ Occupy a Street Corner: Saturday, March 23rd, 2
to 4 p.m., Meadowbrook Park, Windsor Street parking lot (maybe bring
kid-friendly signs)~ Teach-in: Eric Ruder, "A Short and Irreverant History of the G8 and NATO," 3/29/12, 7 p.m. Noyes Hall

~ We need to think about whether or not people feel that the
General Assembly is a viable venue for our group’s goals.   Please feel free to register your
thoughts.

 

NEXT MEETING:  Friday, March 30 2012, Champaign
Library, Room C , 6 – 9 pm
