What do people think about joining the one Jesse mentions below, at 8 PM
Friday at the Urbana Walmart?
I've written to the host of that event to see what they have in mind.
8PM seems a little odd to me - wouldn't we be more visible in daytime?
Has anyone else heard anything about it?
I'm willing to go demonstrate with them at 8pm, but would be happy to
*also* take part in another that afternoon if others like the idea.
Maybe the north prospect one.
I personally would just think to line up with signs on the sidewalk, but
am open to other suggestions.
In any case we should plan something soon. Do we need a sign-making
party? I think our old sign cache includes one Walmart sign from when
people were protesting the *building* of the Urbana store, years ago.
And we have some general Occupy themed signs. But nothing specifically
about support for Walmart workers, I think.
If anyone here has an idea for a sign they'd like to see, please post it
- if you haven't time to make it yourself, maybe someone else will!
