The UI Administration is a growing 1% with ratcheting-up salaries.  Meanwhile workers and students at UI have a very different experience: rising tuition and dropping wages.  Join us if you can.

Anybody for a picketline?

The hardworking men and women at SEIU Local 73 invite all and sundry to one or two pickets:

This Wed Oct. 31 at 7am in front of the Physical Plant on Kirby at Oak St.

Then Wed Oct. 31 at 4:30pm in front of the Assembly Hall on Kirby at First St.

Pass the word!  Come to one or both, bring a friend, an acquaintance, a family member, or just someone you met who is concerned that the multibillion dollar university balances its books on the backs of students paying record tuition, and janitors and food service workers making poverty wages, and others who don't get much more!
