The Illinois Senate's SJR 27, paving the way for an Amendment limiting corporate power, may make Illinois the 12th state to move against the idea that corporations have the same rights as people.

Join us to organize for fairness in campaign spending, continuing to call for law in opposition to the Citizens United Supreme court decision, against the doctrine of money as speech, by Amendment if necessary. 

Facts will be reviewed, County Board members positions explored, and preparation will be made for taking last November's successful referenda items to the Board.

We will meet in room 228.
