I think the Republican party and the Democrat party both "suck".
But I can understand why David runs as a Democrat and I support
him in this decision.

This Ann Callis is indeed a law-and-order militant and as such she is a menace to the
well-being of ordinary people and their families. She will do nothing
to change serious negative trends in the society, since she is an textbook insider
who has aided the 1% in establishing and maintaining the status quo
of oppression.

David Green is an honest and sincere guy who hates oppression in
all of its forms. He hates aggressive wars of imperialism, he
hates corruption in government, he hates crony capitalism, and
he hates exploitation of working people for the benefit of
a uncaring privileged few. David Green really cares about
people and he cares about real justice and fairness to people.
He cares about the truth, and he is a very smart fellow.

These things that David Green dislikes we can all agree that
we also dislike them and want to see them stopped. And we can
all agree that caring and justice and fairness and honesty are
essential traits in leadership that are sorely lacking in political
circles.

I don't agree with David Green on every issue. I don't
have to agree with him on every issue for him to be my friend.

We need more real friends like David who can make government better
to step up and run for political offices.

Please join me in supporting David in his courageous and difficult
endeavour to help us all.

Please do what ever you can.

Friends;
I have had a positive and energizing week collecting signatures around town, and getting a sense of the number of people who hunger to hear that somebody is running for U.S. Congress on the basis of intelligent criticism and social vision.
Last night at Channing-Murray Foundaiton in Urbana, representatives of local progressive groups met to inform each other of their activities and goals. I spoke about my politics, and I also spoke about the “credibility barrier” among those who believe that I cannot be a viable candidate because I do not have the funding that my opponents have.
This barrier will have to be overcome, and can be overcome, by word of mouth and social media. It will only take 15,000 votes in a district of 500,000 of voting age for me to win this election. You can help by talking to five people and asking each of them to talk to five other people, and so on. Ask them to join my e-mail list<http://www.davidgreenforcongress.com/involved.html>, like me on Facebook<https://www.facebook.com/pages/David-Green-for-Congress/412043318895897>, and consider donating $10.<https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/davidgreen>
Spread the word to your own e-mail lists and Facebook friends.
I said last evening that the honesty and truthfulness of my campaign is unique in this district, and likely unique in this country. That is not political hyperbole.
I said last evening that Ann Callis is a “law and order militarist.” You can read support for this view on her website.
Also last evening, the representative of the local Progressive Democrats of America also spoke, with a different hat on, in support of George Gollin, my other opponent. According to the views stated on his website, George Gollin has little in common with the views stated on the PDA website<http://www.pdamerica.org/>.
My views are clearly more supportive of the PDA’s general and specific perspectives, differing perhaps only in my more openly critical views of Israel’s occupation of and settlements in Palestine, and U.S. support for these violations of international law and human rights.
From my supporters I need visible signs of support. Please go to my website<http://www.davidgreenforcongress.com/>, get on my e-mail list, and like me on Facebook<https://www.facebook.com/pages/David-Green-for-Congress/412043318895897>.
Please consider coming to my first major fundraiser as advertised on my website<http://www.davidgreenforcongress.com/>, Saturday October 19th, at 3 p.m. I would like to have a strong show of support, both for photographs and morale. Come for the first half hour, when I will speak briefly and answer questions, or stay longer. Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to davidgreenforcongress at gmail.com<mailto:davidgreenforcongress at gmail.com>.
If you haven’t yet done so, please consider becoming one of the 1,000 individuals committed to making this campaign a success for the 99%.
We can do this.
Best regards,
David
