             Abolish the Illinois Charter School Commission, Put Pupils
Before Profit *Central Illinois JwJ Joins Growing Movement to
#SaveOurSchools*

There are currently two bills before the Illinois General Assembly that
would essentially abolish the Illinois Charter School Commission and
regulate charter schools.

   - SB-2627 (Senate) and HB-3754 (House) dissolve the ALEC-initiated,
   Illinois Charter School Commission - HB 3754 passed the Illinois House.
   - SB-588 (Senate) and HB-6005 (House) is the Charter Accountability Act

*HB 3754 just passed in the last week -- Now is the time to call your
representatives to pass these bills!*
