[OccupyCU] denial denial, etc etc - Enough, already, please ... Let's talk about real wars, not flame wars.

I am with Stuart. I thought these lists were for coalition building and
aligning our progressive efforts toward a common cause. Hijacking the list
for a personal cause, even in self-defense, hurts your cause and the spirit
of community action.

I suggest this course of action. If you offer something that the community
does not engage in a positive way, take your agenda elsewhere. If someone
proposes an agenda with which you disagree, ignore it and let it fall by
the wayside. If, on the off chance everyone on the list begins to deny the
holocaust or the heliocentric model, then leave the list.

Movements are torn apart be egocentric defense of ideas. Coalitions need
common effort. They do not need complete agreement on all issues. If we are
divided, we cannot act as a group. If we cannot coordinate on common
causes, a people's movement will fail. The one percent have a common cause:
preserve and increase class privilege. They also have money, the courts and
the ear of every American politician. We only have each other. When that is
threatened, they win . . . as they have for the last 40 years.

Take detailed critiques of one another off list. Please.

Ian
