On April 14, five days ahead of the New York State primaries, Donald
Trump came to Manhattan to hold a fundraiser at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

A demonstration was called following angry protests against Trump
rallies elsewhere in the country that have been orgies of race hate,
woman-bashing, and anti-immigrant xenophobia.
In addition to the justified hatred of Trump and everything he stands
for, many of the protests also implicitly or explicitly support
Democratic presidential candidates.

The Internationalist Group and CUNY Internationalist Clubs came out to
protest the racist Trump, as well as the candidates of the Democratic
Party, the governing party of US imperialism that has deported close to
5 million immigrants over the last five years.

Internationalist demonstrators emphasized that it’s not just one
candidate, not just one party, but a whole system of racist oppression.
The name of that system is capitalism – and it will take a revolution to
bring it down.
