[Peace-discuss] Is this really true?

I hate to say “I told you so,” but I did.

I just happen to think that Nader is “innocently” and secretly funded by the GOP for the sole purpose of siphoning off Dem votes. In fact, I suspect that it is one of their highest priorities. FWIW, Sherman Skolnick, a Chicago conspiracy-theorist kind of guy (I guess, for I actually know very little about him,) reported (said) several months ago that Nader was actually a sort of GOP secret operative and phony as all get out. He made some pretty convincing arguments. I do not necessarily believe that, but if it happened to be true, I would not be overly surprised; but I doubt it. Nevertheless, IMO the GOP would be idiots not to surreptitiously support Nader.

I will wait until election morning, and if I feel Illinois is truly “safe,” I will vote for Nader. But Kerry will have to have a 10% lead for me to consider it “safe.” I just don’t think voting for Nader is that important, unless we want to show the GOP how effective a vote-siphoner he can be.

Most Americans do not even know that ours is the only country actually convicted of terrorism in a world court, for the atrocities of the U.S. sponsored Contras in Nicaragua.
