This is quite wrong. Read the bill. Title IV e.g. includes a
billion dollars for military construction. <br>
<br>
Tim Johnson is upholding his pledge to de-fund the war, which is the
only way that Obama's mad expansion of it can be stopped.<br>
<br>
David Gill is unwilling publicly to pledge to vote against money for
war, so he has to misrepresent what his opponent is doing. <br>
<br>
If Gill were to become a Representative, he would be another vote
for the Democrats' war policy - always couched in Obama's misleading
rhetoric about a future withdrawal. How often are you willing to be
lied to by the Democrats about the war?<br>
<br>
Johnson on the other hand publicly states that he was wrong to vote
for the unlawful invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq (as I told him
when I ran against him in 2002) and will vote for no more money for
war in the Mideast. That's the only way the administration can be
stopped. <br>
<br>
This "support the troops" malarkey is as disingenuous now as it was
in 2001 and 2003 - an intellectually dishonest support for the war.

been tackling

people of the
15th District!

Johnson
doesn’t want

what he has
been up to,
including his
vote <b>AGAINST
HR 5822</b> to
provide $171
billion for
veterans'
health care in
2011—a rare
bipartisan
achievement
that passed
411 to 6. I
find his ‘nay’
vote
appalling—that’s
no way to
treat our
veterans! <br>

So this week I
held rallies
across the
district and
exposed
Johnson’s
cowardice.
Guess what?
The media from
St. Louis to
Fox News to
radio stations
and newspapers
here in IL-15
are paying
attention, and
we put Johnson
on the
defensive. <br>
