current- or soon to be retirees, of course).

Latest Wis. US Senate poll shows virtual tie<br>

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A new poll says Wisconsin's U.S. Senate race is a<br>
tossup between Democratic incumbent Russ Feingold and Republican<br>
challenger Ron Johnson.<br>
<br>
The St. Norbert College Survey Center poll shows Johnson ahead, 49<br>
percent to 47 percent. The margin of error is 5 percentage points.<br>
<br>
Other recent polls have shown Johnson with a slight lead. However,<br>
Feingold says his internal polling has been showing a virtual tie<br>
among likely voters.<br>
<br>
The poll released Tuesday afternoon also found that 42 percent of<br>
respondents approve of the job President Barack Obama is doing, while<br>
52 percent disapprove.<br>
<br>
The St. Norbert poll is sponsored by Wisconsin Public Radio. It<br>
questioned 402 registered likely voters between Oct. 12 and Friday.<br>
<br>
The election is in two weeks.<br>
