name is Nick Gosz, and I’m a veteran. I support Russ because he stands up
for us vets. Today, Senator Feingold released a new ad featuring five fellow veterans and myself standing up for Russ’s

I graduated high school in 2001, I was proud to enlist to serve my
country. A couple months later, our country was attacked on 9/11 and
Army life got serious in a hurry. After basic training, I went to
airborne school and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Army Infantry Unit.
I was deployed to Afghanistan
for seven months and to Iraq
for nine months before returning home and facing the challenges
and struggles that are common to veterans.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:120%;">Yesterday,
Russ's opponent, Ron Johnson, was asked about specific things that can be done
to help homeless veterans. He told the crowd of voters, “I don’t have all
the details. But, you know, one thing I will point out, I don’t - I don’t
believe this election really is about details, it just isn’t.”</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:120%;">Mr.
Johnson’s response says a lot to me about the choice we have in this
election. </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:120%;">I
support Senator Feingold because he understands that it is important that we
have a United States
senator who is on our side, fighting for us. Russ has built a strong record of
service to Wisconsin veterans and in July 2010, the National Association of County Veterans
Service Officers named Feingold the Legislator of the Year for his dedication
to veterans’ issues. </span></span></p>
