Again, if people object to the content of any postings, they can either respond to them or delete them. I've chosen to continue to subscribe to this list and contribute, because I like it and enjoy it. I'm not sure what the problem is, other than that some people might not post because they are afraid others won't agree with them. I can't do anything about that. This

I have no problems with allowing the group to read and comment on my opinions. My basic sense of fair play is shouting right now. Why are no efforts taking place to encourage others to participate in discussions in place. Please don't give me the line that everyone knows that they are welcome to participate at any time because there is clearly no evidence of this. The discussions are limited to just a few people bantering back and forth with one another. I want to hear from other members of this list serve whether or not they feel welcome to participate or even change the topic of discussion. What efforts are we doing to encourage new people to start their own discussion? This group has simply created a platform for these folks to banter back and forth with each other. I resent being given the option to leave the list and I am not sure why I should need to. Is it because it is out of control? Is it because we should just throw up our hands and say "boys will be boys"? I know it cannot be because this is a free flowing exchange of opinions..it just isn't. We cannot hide the large purple elephant in the room here.<BR><BR>I agree that is issue has reared its ugly head on more than one occasion and I think it is time to meet to discuss fully what is the purpose and intent of this list
