<P>This is, of course, a shameless lie. When Nasser appropriated the Suez Canal in 1956, Egypt was invaded by Israel, at the behest of Britain and France, who had controlled it. The 1967 war was a continuation and fulfillment of Israel's aggressive ambitions, thwarted by Eisenhower in 1956. </P>
