Republican lawmakers hope to use this event to promote conversation over

criticism, and dialogue over divisiveness.</span></font></p>

popular belief, there are some of us in Congress who are eager for rational

debate and civil discourse,” Rep. Johnson said. “There are

obviously areas where I disagree with Rep. Murphy. But he is still a colleague

whom I like and respect. He and I are also members of the Center Aisle Caucus,

which is an ideal platform from which to advocate civility and collegiality. In
