<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">What do you think of Obama?<div><br></div><div>He summarily executes Americans and others, kills children, and asserts powers (like indefinite detention) clearly denied him by the Constitution. </div><div><br></div><div>The founders would not hesitate to say that his high crimea and misdemeanors are what the impeachment clause was designed for.</div><div><br></div><div>In a just world, he would be in a cell in The Hague (next to Bush and others) awaiting trial for war crimes. <br><div><br></div><div>He became president by lying to the American people ("the peace candidate") and co-opting the antiwar movement; once in office he expanded the war.</div><div><br></div><div>He understands correctly that his constituency is the 1%, so his policies are consistently pro-war and pro-Wall Street. </div><div><br></div><div>His job, which he understands well, is to "restore the faith of the American people in their government" ("The Audacity of Hope") - i.e., to lie to them in a plausible manner, in order to protect policies that are not in their interest but enrich the elite. (Look at the figures on the concentration of wealth since the financial crisis.) </div><div><br></div><div>Such a program cannot be defeated by electoral politics, given the control of both 'major' parties. It will take something like the civil rights movement or anti-Vietnam war movement to reverse Obama's economic and military policies. (They're also Bush's and Romney's policies.)</div><div><br></div><div>But it's hard to see how anyone can in good conscience vote for a child-killer. </div><div><br></div><div>I think we should end all the wars & that we should elect a congressman to vote against them.
