I should stay in. I did want to mention the function of the website, its connection to other occupy movement websites and how the calendar has at least functioned as a clearinghouse of left leaning politics in the region. Occupy, as a brand, might have more resonance than a peace list or AWARE or other local groups and attract newcomers. This has not happened, but it could function in this way. The calendar has become a one-stop place to see what all these groups are doing and occupy seems more like an emblem of resistance in the name of social justice broadly. <br> <br>That said, all of the registrants at the site have been spam for the last several months.
