What the Amerikan people need to be reminded of is how badly they are

government at every level, local, state, national, etc.<br>

Thoughts: it is vital to claim and occupy what is ours- public spaces,
unemployment or disability insurance, access to libraries, city
buildings, officials, public servants. We forget what is our and then
it gets rescinded under the auspice that by not engaging it, we show we
don't want it.<br>

So, strategic engagement/ reminder of what is (or should be)
public/public service is vital. Especially at election time! These are
our elections! I suggest a visibility of local/state election.<br>
<br>
The public infrastructure of uc2b is potentially going to be given to a
private, out of town Corp. Gigabit.coop is proposing to create a coop
biz to supply broadband instead. There will be forums on tues and wed I
think, and ongoing energy. This is about keeping local resources,
keeping $ and jobs local.<br>
