<DIV>As part of the national WalMart Black Friday on November 23, </DIV>
<DIV>demonstrations and protests were held in San Leandro and </DIV>
<DIV>Richmond in the Bay Area. WalMart workers spoke about the </DIV>
<DIV>intimidation and terrorism on the job to silence them from </DIV>
<DIV>speaking out and organizing. Some workers walked off the </DIV>
<DIV>job in solidarity with the national day of action and were </DIV>
<DIV>promptly fired. Making Change at Walmart is the organizing </DIV>
<DIV>group which called this day of action and it is supported by </DIV>
<DIV>the United Food And Commercial Workers Union UFCW.</DIV>
<DIV>In San Leandro, WalMart on November 22, 2012 also </DIV>
<DIV>threatened the use of the police to remove the protesters </DIV>
<DIV>including their own workers.</DIV>
