Though not re-elected, Johnson is still in Congress for the
current session and can still have an impact.<br>

and tell him to "oppose any cuts to Social Security, Medicare and
Medicaid as part of the fiscal cliff negotiations".<br>

on the Upcoming Budget Negotiations.</b><br>

A summary: Recognizing that the American people have voted for
defending the middle class and for supporting vulnerable populations
among us, this resolution calls for adopting a budget agreement
which -<br>
* asks all Americans to pay their fair share of taxes<br>
* prioritizes job creation first, including investments in good
jobs, education, and infrastructure improvements,<br>
* does not cut Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security, nor shift
costs to beneficiaries or to the states,<br>
* protects the safety net and vital services for poor people,<br>
* stops the sequester's automatic budget cuts,<br>
* cuts the military budget<br>
